coolfounders is founded by Novistiar Rustandi, a consultant and entrepreneur with more than 9 years of experience in business process and control improvement, information technology general control, system implementation, and consumer Internet. Novis is currently working for one of the largest consulting and public accounting firm in the world. Novis has MBA (Finance) and Master of Science in Information Systems Technology (Information Systems Development) degrees from the George Washington University, Washington, DC. He is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Payment Card Industry Security Manager (CPISM).

Novis has a lot of passions for Internet business. He started his first startup in 2002 and sold the website in 2005. In his spare time (means night and weekend), he and his co-founder, Sanny Gaddafi, are running another website, AutoSally, an online marketplace where car owners can find trusted, qualified repair shops and save on their car repair/maintenance costs, that aims to address the problem of general mistrust in the US auto repair industry.

Originally from Indonesia, Novis is actively following the development of Indonesian startups and Internet business. He believes that, Indonesia, with its 242 million population, will become one of the countries in the world with the most Internet users and thus, has a huge potential for Internet business. This huge opportunity does not go unnoticed by Indonesian entrepreneurs. Many of them have started their Internet startups. However, to reach their full potential, young Indonesian startup founders need supports, training, guidelines, and investments from more experienced Internet entrepreneurs and investors from other countries, especially the US.

With this blog, Novis aims to expose Indonesia’s potential for Internet business and connect Indonesian entrepreneurs and startups to Internet entrepreneurs and investors in the US and other countries.
